Windows live one care

Windows Live OneCare was a computer security and performance program developed by Microsoft. It provided anti-virus and anti-malware protection, firewall protection, data backup and restore capabilities, and tune-up functions for the Windows operating system.

The program offered real-time protection against viruses, spyware, hackers, and other threats. It could also scan and remove existing malware from the computer. The firewall protection ensured that unauthorized users could not access the computer or any of its files.

Windows Live OneCare also allowed users to schedule back-ups of their important files and data. This ensured that if their computer crashed or if they lost their files for any reason, they could restore them easily. The program also included tune-up features like disk cleanup, disk defragmentation, and registry cleaning to ensure the computer was running as fast and efficiently as possible.

Windows Live OneCare was discontinued by Microsoft in 2011, with users encouraged to switch to other security software products.
